Socialistic Infrastructure and the United States National Debt

Has anyone ever heard of the saying "screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me"? This is exactly how our government officials should be feeling. What happened when, supposedly, Wall Street fell? The government ran in and helped clean up the supposed mess. Now the tax payers own stocks in companies that only really needed a payday loan or maybe liquidate some of their assets. But, no. We as the freedom of entreauprenorship decided we wanted to put our hand in that cookie jar so we can help run the company in to the ground.

Let's think about this first of all. The US government is $13.9 trillion in the red. That should be a flag that the government can't even run their own company, so why would we want to go into business with them? Their philosophy is to just throw money or lower interest rates at the problems!!

One may ask how we got into this conundrum. Simple, we think we run the world and need to be big brother to everyone with their hands out or the ones that are thinking about putting their hands out. There are 1 million or more people homeless now in the US. Most of the shelters in the US are run with donated moneys, very little government funding. What program do we have to help them? What program do we have gives them billions of US dollars or building programs with the US military? What about all the children that may be homeless or live in inhabitable establishments? Do we forget about the people around us or are we just oblivious to it all.

We are a giving nation and I understand this. But don't go shitting in someone else's yard until yours is finished. War is supposed to bring economies out of debt, we have just dug deeper with all the other programs and bailouts that our congress has expressedly passed and tried to make part of their re-election campaigns. Let's divert some of the funding and build houses, shelters, agriculture training and research. How many inner city youth children would survive if we took them out in to the farm lands and taught them how to work with their hands and helped them get settled in this type of occupation? How many people have even thought about it? Probably a lot, the problem lies within the wavos of the people we have elected into office.

So with that, here are some solutions on how to improve the national debt and help decrease the possibility of running into this mess in the future.

1.  Stop all outgoing aid
2.  Fire Congress (they haven't done anything but keep stepping in the proverbial shit pond)
3.  Make a new national lottery and put the profits towards programs that involve education, housing,    national debt, etc.
4. Get rid of how many congressmen and senators we have (do we really need hundreds of them?)
5. Hold re-election and give each state 2 seats in the Senate and 1 in Congress. (Now this gets rid of extra incomes that we have been paying out on. Not to mention all the excess luxuries that they use and enjoy.
6. Require all able bodies youth 18-20 to serve 2-3 years in the military. (You may ask why on this one, but let's think about it. When do the get their education? Do they actually have any work experience when they enter the work field? Will this take off some of the parent’s responsibilities and kindness to support?)

These are just 6 of my quick fix factors and suggestions. I know that know one would ever listen to just a simple man or his ideas, especially since I don't have an alphabet behind my name. Once again, these are just my thoughts and ideas. The facts are not exact, since there are so many different publications that have uncorresponding information.
